Up at Apperley Bridge for a few days to do services etc.  Back to Rodley at the weekend before heading off to Sheffield.

Avm to Rodley

Rodley - moored here for a few days now after a very hot trip up through Forge and Newlay locks.
It has been 34 deg C on board today, the last time we had temperatures like this was in July last year in Bath, that day we had to keep running the engine to keep the fridge running, hope fully it now looks like the solar panels have done their job and we still have full batteries.

Starting Out

Well here we are, after weeks of sorting things we are ready to set off. We leave the marina tomorrow, the house is now let so we launch ourselves into a new adventure. This summer is a combination of weddings and birthdays so we will be around the north of England for a while before heading south to Vicky and Ian's wedding in Bristol in October.
I will try to keep up to date with the blog so you know where we are and we look forward to meeting up with everyone along our way.
Just hope the weather is as good as it is today for the next couple of years or so.
